Founder

Attorney Dinah Reese, began her long association with the land of the rising sun, its language and culture nearly two decades ago as an exchange student at Kansa Gaidai University of Foreign Studies (関西外大外国大学). It was her thirst to learn more about the language and culture that led Ms. Reese to relocate to Japan on two more occasions.

First, in 1994 to work for Nomos Corporation in Kyoto,
Japan and most recently in 2005 to study Japanese intensively at Yamasa Institute in Aichi Prefecture. During this time she studied not only the language but the arts of kimono wearing, calligraphy and tea ceremony.
Ms. Reese passed the highest level of the Japanese Language proficiency Test* while
studying at Yamasa.

She immediately put her skills to use as a Japanese Review Attorney upon her return to the U.S. in 2007. After gaining a birds eye view into the intricacies and unique challenges of Japanese document review, Ms.Reese founded LegaLinguists, LLC in 2010 to provide stellar Japanese discovery services to Am Law 100 firms engaged in high-stakes Japanese-related litigation matters.
